No Harassment Policy

At Neat, we are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels safe, respected, and valued. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

Harassment is any unwanted behavior that creates an uncomfortable, hostile, or intimidating environment. This can include:

  • Verbal abuse, such as swearing or yelling.

  • Physical harassment, like unwanted touching or pushing.

  • Sexual harassment, which includes unwanted sexual comments or advances.

If a customer is found to be harassing an employee, they will be prohibited from using our services moving forward.

Payment

Payment is required before your film will be developed. The turn-around time begins once payment is made. 

We charge for all requested services upfront. Once the services have been rendered, we refund any services that may have been unnecessary. For example, you request the develop and scan services. If your film turns out blank, we will refund you for the scans, as the service was not required.

Blank Film

If your film turns out blank, you will be charged only for developing. Any scan and/or print charges will be refunded.

Film Pickup

Negatives are discarded after 1 (one) month if not picked-up. We will contact you by email and text before discarding your order.

Film Damage

You must advise us of any films that have been “souped“ or submerged in any liquid. We do not process souped film. If we are not advised and your film is processed as normal, you will be charged for any damaged rolls processed along side yours. 

You must advise us of any films that are ECN-2. We do not process cinema film with remjet. If we are not advised and your film is processed as normal, you will be charged for any damaged rolls processed along side yours and/or any ruined chemistry.

Limit of Liability

We make all reasonable efforts to ensure that your media (including but not limited to film, negative, slide, artwork, digital media; collectively hereinafter referred to as “YOUR MEDIA”) is handled safely and appropriately in all circumstances. However, despite our care and attention to detail while processing, scanning, handling, or storing YOUR MEDIA (“OUR SERVICES”), the possibility exists that errors may occur, that equipment and technology may fail, and that YOUR MEDIA may be lost, damaged, or destroyed during the performance of OUR SERVICES.

By submitting YOUR MEDIA to us, YOU HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE that:

  1. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or destruction of YOUR MEDIA, even when due to our negligence and fault while performing OUR SERVICES.

  2. Your exclusive remedy against us is the replacement of YOUR MEDIA which has been lost, damaged, or destroyed by OUR SERVICES with a like amount of raw media (“YOUR MEDIA REPLACEMENT”).
    For example: If YOUR MEDIA includes three rolls of film, and we lose, damage, or destroy one of the three rolls of film while performing OUR SERVICES, you are entitled to receive from us one roll of unexposed film of like quality and character to the roll that was lost, damaged, or destroyed.

  3. Except for YOUR MEDIA REPLACEMENT as defined herein, the performance of OUR SERVICES on YOUR MEDIA is without any other warranty or liability, and you hereby waive, disclaim, and release us from all other claims, remedies, and recovery for any loss, destruction or damages of YOUR MEDIA, including incidental or consequential damages.
